Dr Greg Potter

Health & Performance Consultant

About me

Hi I’m Greg, and I’m passionate about helping people sustainably improve their physical, mental, and cognitive health. My focus is on developing scalable, affordable solutions to make better health accessible to more people.

My PhD focused on the connections between sleep, circadian rhythms, nutrition, and metabolism. More broadly, I specialise in understanding how different factors influencing health and performance interact, with a strong emphasis on behavioural science to help people achieve their goals.

I have an eclectic blend of experience across academia, coaching, product development, and science communication. This has included creating health apps to automate coaching, formulating functional foods and supplements (such as products to counteract the effects of poor sleep), and developing online courses. I’ve also shared my knowledge through public speaking, podcasting, writing, and appearances on TV and radio.

Throughout my education, I’ve worked directly with people to apply and test what I learnt. Initially I was a personal trainer and coach for high-performance athletes. Later, I expanded to help individuals with chronic health conditions. This hands-on experience has shaped my practical approach to health, blending scientific insights with application.

I turn research into affordable, scaleable health solutions that people love to use in the long-term.
