Nutrition Scientist & Content Producer
Hi, I’m Dr Sophie. I’ve been a science content creator for almost a decade, bringing a mix of technical knowledge and creative communication skills to everything I do.
I have a PhD in Molecular Nutrition and a BSc in Biomedicine. I specialise in genetics, genomics, and how we can use science to prevent diseases and help people live longer—especially through the lens of diet and exercise!
As a postdoctoral researcher, I contributed to SARS-CoV-2 sequencing efforts – studying how COVID-19 changes over time by looking closely at its genetic makeup. I’ve also worked in clinical trials and dietary intervention environment, which shaped my practical, person-centred approach to science. Now I work with a range of organisations, from start-ups to large companies, creating content strategies and delivering high-growth healthcare marketing campaigns.
Creativity has always been central to my identity. From a young age, I’ve paired scientific curiosity with artistic exploration. Stepping away from academia allowed me to combine these passions with greater flexibility and freedom, enabling me to create impactful content beyond the confines of a laboratory. I’m driven by outcomes, and I love creating content that communicates science clearly and meaningfully.
My work combines a strong science background with a creative flair for communication.
